Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you contact us or book a cruise, why we need it, who we share it with and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

1. Information we collect

When you contact us on WhatsApp, Telegram or by phone, or use the booking form on this website, we may collect:

• Your name and contact details (phone number, email address)
• Booking details (cruise date, number of guests, children's ages, extras such as drinks package, transfer or romantic table, special requests)
• Hotel name and pick-up address, if you request a transfer
• Your communication history with us (WhatsApp, Telegram, phone calls)
• Language and country preferences
• Website usage data (pages visited, device and browser type) through analytics tools, where enabled

We do not process online payments and never store card details. Payment is made on the boat.

2. How we use your information

• Processing and confirming your reservation
• Communicating with you before, during and after the cruise (confirmation, meeting point, reminders, follow-up)
• Coordinating with the cruise operator and transfer providers to deliver your booking
• Answering your questions, including with the help of automated assistants supervised by our team
• Improving our services and this website
• Complying with legal obligations

Legal basis (GDPR): performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). Legal basis (KVKK): performance of a contract (Art. 5(2)(c)), legal obligation (Art. 5(2)(ç)) and legitimate interest (Art. 5(2)(f)).

3. Data sharing

We share personal data only as far as needed for the purposes above, with:

• The cruise operator — name, number of guests, package and special requests, so your table can be prepared
• Transfer service providers — name, phone number, hotel address and pick-up time, if you booked a transfer
• Messaging platforms — WhatsApp (Meta) and Telegram, which carry our conversations under their own privacy policies
• Analytics and advertising services (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta) — anonymised website usage data, where enabled
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run our website and booking systems
• Public authorities — when required by Turkish law or a court order

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. International data transfers

Some of the services above process data outside Türkiye and the EU/EEA, for example in the United States (messaging platforms, analytics, cloud hosting). Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards under GDPR Article 46 and KVKK Article 9.

5. Data retention

• Booking records: 10 years (Turkish Commercial Code)
• Payment and invoice records: 10 years (tax legislation)
• Communication logs: 2 years after last contact
• Website analytics: up to 26 months

After these periods your data is securely deleted or anonymised.

6. Data security

• SSL/TLS encryption on this website
• End-to-end encrypted messaging on WhatsApp and Telegram
• Access controls and authentication for our booking and administration systems
• Regular reviews of who can access which data

7. Cookies and local storage

• Essential: your language and currency choice and the booking form draft are kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. They are never sent to us.
• Analytics: Google Analytics (anonymised IP, usage patterns), where enabled
• Advertising: Google Ads and Meta conversion measurement, where enabled

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may affect how the site works.

8. Your rights

Under GDPR and KVKK you may at any time:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Have inaccurate data corrected
• Ask for erasure ("right to be forgotten") where the retention rules above allow
• Restrict or object to processing
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Veri sorumlusu

Samerames Tur Turizm Seyahat Organizasyonları ve Reklam Limited Şirketi ("Istanbul Night Cruise") olarak, 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu ("KVKK") kapsamında veri sorumlusu sıfatıyla kişisel verilerinizi aşağıda açıklanan amaçlar doğrultusunda işlemekteyiz.

İşlenen kişisel veriler

• Kimlik bilgileri (ad, soyad)
• İletişim bilgileri (telefon numarası, e-posta adresi)
• Rezervasyon bilgileri (tarih, kişi sayısı, çocuk yaşları, ek hizmetler, özel talepler)
• Konaklama bilgileri (otel adı ve adresi — transfer talep edildiğinde)
• İletişim geçmişi (WhatsApp, Telegram, telefon görüşmeleri)
• Web sitesi kullanım verileri (ziyaret edilen sayfalar, cihaz bilgisi)

Web sitemiz üzerinden çevrimiçi ödeme alınmaz; ödeme teknede yapılır ve kart bilgileri tarafımızca saklanmaz.

• Tekne işletmecisi ve transfer hizmet sağlayıcıları ile koordinasyon

Kişisel verilerin aktarımı

Kişisel verileriniz, yukarıdaki amaçlarla sınırlı olarak tekne işletmecisine (rezervasyon bilgileri), transfer hizmet sağlayıcılarına (otel ve ulaşım bilgileri), mesajlaşma ve barındırma hizmet sağlayıcılarına ve kanuni zorunluluk hâlinde yetkili mercilere aktarılabilmektedir.

Saklama süresi

• Rezervasyon kayıtları: 10 yıl (Türk Ticaret Kanunu)
• Ödeme ve fatura kayıtları: 10 yıl (vergi mevzuatı)
• İletişim kayıtları: son iletişimden itibaren 2 yıl

Haklarınız (KVKK Madde 11)

• Kişisel verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme ve işlenmişse bilgi talep etme
• İşlenme amacını ve amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme
• Yurt içinde veya yurt dışında aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri bilme
• Eksik veya yanlış işlenmişse düzeltilmesini isteme
• KVKK Madde 7 şartları çerçevesinde silinmesini veya yok edilmesini isteme
• Kanuna aykırı işleme sebebiyle zarara uğramanız hâlinde zararın giderilmesini talep etme
